Terms of Service

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This is a placeholder terms page published ahead of dzhive's public launch. A full, counsel-reviewed version will replace this page before any paid advertising or public signup goes live (see the self-serve rollout plan).

The service

dzhive provides a hosted dashboard and API ("the Service") that lets DayZ community operators share persistent characters, economy, and moderation state across their own game servers. dzhive does not host or operate your game servers — they remain entirely under your control, wherever they run today.

Accounts

You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity that happens under your organization, including actions taken by members you invite.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use the Service to violate applicable law or the rights of others.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • You're responsible for your own game servers' compliance with any relevant platform or hosting terms.

Trials and billing

Free trials run for the period advertised at signup and require no payment method. Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence you choose (monthly or annual); you can change or cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard billing page. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Data

Data your servers send to your hive (players, inventory, economy, moderation logs) belongs to your organization. We process it to provide the Service and do not use it for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted here.
